“The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people.”
Houston is known as the melting pot! You can experience India, China, Mexico, and Nigeria without leaving the city. Culture is the one unique thing that allows us to learn more about each other. Do you want an opportunity to show Houston what you’re ALL about?
Come and wear your cultural pride! The 5th Annual Nigeria Cultural Parade & Festival is dancing its way into town on Saturday, October 2nd at Root Memorial Square and will be hosting one big cultural party to which all are invited. Embrace your heritage and paint the streets of Downtown Houston with the colors of Nigeria.
We want everyone to get a taste of the world. Guests from across many demographics and Houston’s diverse cultural backgrounds are welcome. No matter if you are Caribbean, Latina, Hip Hop, Salsa, African… Come one, come all! Let us know ‘Who You Reppin?’
